"I can’t recommend Lewis and his team enough for the work that he did.
I wanted a large double story extension to the side of my property. I had a tight budget and very nervous as I’ve never had done anything like this before. I did my research and met 5 different builders.From the moment I met Lewis he understood what I wanted and that I was on a tight budget.Not once did he try and sell other more costly ideas but gave me great ideas of things I could do that could save money but still give me that wow factor.The quote I received was very fair and detailed with step by step stage of the build and the amount broken down.
Work was started on the arranged date and Lewis updated me regular with how things were going.
I have two children and two dogs and they all felt at ease having Lewis and his team here and that was great reassurance to me. He also showed great respect to all my neighbours .They become part of the family over the summer.
Lewis talked me through each stage and even came late one evening with the electrician to help me decide where I wanted plug sockets as shockingly things like that hadn’t even crossed my mind how important things like that would be.
The project was complete by the agreed time scale and in my opinion to a very high standard.

"We selected Lewis and the team at Spires and Fields after meeting with 5 other local builders in the area. The project was to build a two story extension above the existing garage.
The reason we chose Lewis was from the initial meeting and follow ups he was professional and demonstrated a really good understanding of our plans and needs for flexibility in the approach.
Throughout the project, Lewis demonstrated excellent communication skills. He was very patient, particularly as we made a major change mid way through the project. This was our first "big" project, and there was a lot of unknowns for us. Lewis wasn't assumptive as to our understanding of what was going on and kept us up to date on layman terms with where we were in the project and what was happening next. This was particularly important for us as we kicked the project off during lockdown and have a young family.
The wider team were friendly, polite and kept the site clean in the evening. They were also happy to go the extra mile and were also very patient with our ad-hoc changes throughout the project.
